Description:
Summary/Objective: The mail room clerk is responsible for handling, logging and disseminating all incoming and outgoing mail in the physical Dayton, Ohio Office.
Essential Functions.
1. Sorting, logging and delivery of all incoming mail;
2. Sorting, and handling all postage and delivery for outgoing mail as directive by the Attorney or Paralegal staff;
3. Office supply ordering and receipt, organization and inventory control;
4. Transporting USPS mail and FedEx to specific post-office or carrier locations;
5. Logging and tracking incoming mail via Firm Case Management System;
6. Logging, tracking and maining Original Loan Documents through the Firm Case Management System and the Firm designated Original Vault;
7. Oversee and manage office shredding;
8. Scanning, shredding and logging of physical files.

Work Environment.
This job operates in a professional setting. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
At times, may require lifting large and/or small items or furniture.

Required Education and Experience
1. High School diploma or Equivalent.
Preferred Education and Experience
1. Attending College or some college;
2. Prior work experience in a professional environment is a plus;
Additional Eligibility Qualifications
1. Must have proof of auto insurance.
2. Must have valid Driver’s License.
