Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A bilingual Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed to support students in grades K-12. This is a contract position within a public school district in Mesquite, Texas, starting January 5, 2026, and ending May 28, 2026. The role is primarily itinerant, covering several campuses with an office base at the Student Support Center. The position requires fluency in both English and Spanish to effectively serve a diverse student population.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct speech, language, and communication evaluations as part of the district's evaluation team.
  • Develop and implement individualized plans to support student speech and language goals.
  • Collaborate with educators, families, and support staff to deliver comprehensive services.
  • Utilize district resources including test kits and technology to enhance assessment and intervention.
  • Maintain clear documentation and communication through district channels.
  • Support students across multiple campuses with a hybrid work schedule (four days on-site, one day remote).

Qualifications:

  • Active Texas Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license.
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish required.
  • Experience working with K-12 student populations preferred.
  • Strong evaluation, diagnostic, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage an itinerant caseload and adapt to multiple school environments.

Location: Mesquite, Texas (Hybrid: On-site four days/week with one day remote).
