Sr. DevOps Engineer Cognizant Digital Practice helps clients reinvent products, experiences, and business models to build new value, differentiation, and drive revenue in the digital economy. We take an experience-centered approach that uses human insights to take ideas from vision to outcome and build end-to-end experience solutions that enable brands to transform their customer and employee experiences using design, marketing, and commerce capabilities. *Cognizant will only consider applicants who are legally authorized to work in the US* Primary Location: Sylmar, California, USA - Onsite Seeking a Kubernetes Developer The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in implementing Kubernetes clusters in on-premises environments, with a strong background in container orchestration, cloud-native technologies, and DevOps practices. Expertise in Kubernetes, Azure DevOps, GitHub, and Jenkins is required to manage CICD pipelines and ensure seamless integration and deployment of applications. Key Responsibilities: Design, deploy, and manage Kubernetes clusters in on-premises environments (not cloud-based). Develop and maintain CICD pipelines using Azure DevOps, GitHub, and Jenkins. Collaborate with development and operations teams to optimize containerized applications. Implement security best practices for Kubernetes environments. Automate infrastructure provisioning and management using tools like Terraform or Ansible. Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure high availability and reliability. Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in Kubernetes and cloud-native technologies. Document processes, configurations, and best practices for Kubernetes usage. Required Qualifications: Proven experience with Kubernetes and Docker. Strong understanding of microservices architecture and containerization. Experience with Azure DevOps, GitHub, and Jenkins. Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, and Go. Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or Ansible. Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. Strong communication and collaboration abilities. Additional Information: Applications will be accepted until May 20th, 2025. The annual salary ranges from $81,337 to $114,000, depending on experience and qualifications. This position is eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to applicable plans.
