Supply Chain Lead - Solutions ajc

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Develop, build, and manage relationships with suppliers in the direct and indirect procurement space.

• Determine best sourcing and execute purchase orders to fulfill project needs.

• Monitor project milestones, hold supplier progress meetings, and expedite, as necessary.

• Hold suppliers and internal stakeholders accountable to project deliverables.

• Negotiating pricing and terms with suppliers.

• Maintain data integrity for procurement activities.

• Analyze demand and recommend strategic purchases when beneficial.

• Recommend and lead improvements to optimize the overall process and drive greater efficiency.

Requirements:

Ideal candidates would have/be:

• Bachelor's degree and/or 3-5 years related experience purchasing technical products

• Demonstrated experience negotiating difficult issues while maintaining relationships.

• Proactively identifies and mitigates risks.

• Working knowledge of MS Office, MS Project or SmartSheet, and ERP

• Analytical mind with business acumen

• Detail-oriented and organized

• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

• Aviation and/or Aerospace Industry knowledge is preferred.
