Key Responsibilities:
Assist in drafting, editing, and formatting technical documentation (e.g., user manuals, standard operating procedures, training materials).
Collect and organize information from subject matter experts.
Ensure basic grammatical accuracy and formatting compliance.
Maintain document version control and updates in shared repositories.
Follow established templates and style guides.

Write and edit project/program documentation such as requirements, management plans, and design documents.
Write and edit technical documents including reference manuals and product manuals, and procedural documentation such as user guides and manuals.
Meet with subject matter experts (SMEs) such as engineers, programmers, and project managers to learn about specific products or processes.
Work with graphic designers to create diagrams, charts, and other visual aids to assist readers in understanding a product or process.
Gather feedback from SMEs and Senior Technical Writers to improve technical documents.

Qualifications:

Some education in Technical Writing, English, or related field of study
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Excellent writing, editing, and grammatical skills
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to quickly grasp complex topics and present technical information in clear, concise text
Ability to meet deadlines and work independently
Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Pro

Desired Skills:

Experience in prioritizing and understanding the lifecycle of documentation from pre-release through on-going maintenance.

Must be a US Citizen and successfully complete a U.S. government background investigation
