We are looking for a dynamic Solution Sales Manager to join our North American Sales team in the Great Lakes region . Based in the USA, this role focuses on selling custom-engineered packaging, loading, and slicing equipment, services, and integrated process lines to the Food industry. You will drive business growth by managing and expanding key accounts, fostering strong client relationships, and identifying upselling and cross-selling opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts, ensuring long-term client satisfaction.
Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve order intake targets and expand market share.
Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the assigned territory.
Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to drive strategic growth.
Negotiate contracts and agreements to secure beneficial outcomes.
Work closely with the Territory Manager – Food and Healthcare Technologies, Service Sales, and Strategic Account Managers.
Ensure compliance with company policies, regulations, and ethical standards.
Your Profile / Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, marketing, or a related field preferred
5+ years of B2B sales experience.
Proven track record in technical sales, account management, and business development.
Ability to manage multiple accounts and meet sales targets.
Willingness to travel 75% of the time .
Must live within the Great Lakes area
Preferred:
Experience exceeding sales targets in a defined territory.
Strong communication, negotiation, and analytical skills.
Proficiency in CRM systems, MS Office, and SAP C4C .
Knowledge of slicing, loading, automation, or packaging technologies is a plus.

The typical base pay range for this position at the start of employment is expected to be between $105,000 - $115,000 per year. GEA Group has different base pay ranges for different work locations within the United States.
The pay range is not a guarantee of compensation or salary. The estimated range is the budgeted amount for the position. Final offers are based on various factors, including skill set, experience, location, qualifications, and other job-related reasons. You may be eligible for additional rewards, such as discretionary bonus (based on eligibility) and/or equity awards.
