Volunteer - Tooele City Tree Advisory Board Member Join to apply for the Volunteer - Tooele City Tree Advisory Board Member role at Tooele City Corporation . Overview We are seeking residents of Tooele City to serve on our Tree Advisory Board. This seven-member volunteer board will provide valuable services to enhance the quality of life, beautification, and safety of our city. The goal is to maintain the Tree City USA recognition. Details This is a three-year appointed term. The Board meets a minimum of four times each year. Responsibilities include: Coordinate and promote Arbor Day activities; Review, update, and recommend a five-year plan for tree planting and maintenance; Support public awareness and education programs about trees; Review city department concerns related to tree care; Submit an annual activity report; Assist with the renewal application for Tree City USA; Recommend tree species for planting, including lists for park strips and prohibited species.
