This position offers a unique opportunity for a seasoned professional with a strong background in finance and accounting to play a pivotal role in our companys growth and success. As the VP of Finance, you will be a key member of the executive team, responsible for managing all aspects of our financial operations. This is a unique opportunity for a Treasury or Controller looking to take the next step in their career with the potential to grow into a CFO role. Responsibilities:

• Lead and oversee the finance and accounting departments, ensuring all financial operations are conducted with integrity and transparency.
• Develop and implement financial strategies, financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting activities to support the companys growth objectives.
• Collaborate with the CEO and other senior leaders to set company-wide financial strategy and policy.
• Oversee the preparation of all financial reporting and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal budgetary reporting requirements.
• Manage relationships with partners, stakeholders, and investors, and present financial reports and updates to the Board of Directors.
• Identify and manage financial risks and opportunities, and develop strategies to maximize profitability.
• Lead the development and implementation of new financial systems and processes to improve efficiency.
• Provide strategic financial input and leadership on decision-making issues affecting the company.
• Develop and mentor the finance team, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.

• Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field. An MBA or related advanced degree is preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior financial managerial position, preferably in the banking or lending industry.
• Proven experience as a leader in finance, with a strong track record of success in managing a companys financial operations.
• Strong leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
• Excellent financial and accounting skills, including in-depth knowledge of financial regulations and accounting processes.
• Exceptional strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make sound financial decisions.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to clearly convey complex financial information.
• Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, start-up environment, with the ability to adapt to changing priorities.
• High level of integrity and dependability, with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation.
