Warehouse Manager - Hästens (at DB Group America facility)

Hästens crafts the world’s finest, handcrafted beds and sleep instruments. Our Gardena warehouse is the heart of U.S. West Coast operations—storing, packing and shipping luxury mattresses, toppers and accessories with precision and care.

Position Summary

We’re seeking a hands‑on Warehouse Manager to oversee day‑to‑day operations, ensure on‑time deliveries and maintain an impeccably organized facility. You’ll coordinate with our sales and delivery teams, manage inventory in Magaya and handle high‑value products safely.

Key Responsibilities

• Daily Delivery Prep : Review morning delivery needs, pick and stage items for the delivery team.
• Inbound Shipments : Receive weekly freight; verify packing lists, enter received boxes into Magaya and report discrepancies.
• Put‑Away & Inventory : Store items in designated rack locations and generate regular inventory reports for the VP of Operations.
• Order Fulfillment & Packing : Pack mattresses, box springs and toppers in branded boxes; label and prepare shipments for FedEx and other carriers.
• Store & Client Deliveries : Deliver product to Los Angeles area stores and occasionally to clients—requires safe driving in personal vehicle.
• Facility Management : Keep the warehouse spotless, well organized and fully compliant with safety standards.
• Team Communication : Liaise with Sales and Delivery teams to troubleshoot issues and optimize workflows.

Qualifications & Skills (Must Have)

• Forklift certification
• Proficiency with Magaya warehouse management software
• Valid driver’s license and personal car
• Fluent in English (Spanish fluency a plus)
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities
• Ability to lift and maneuver heavy mattresses and components (up to 75 lbs)

• Experience handling high‑value or luxury goods
• Bilingual in English/Spanish
