Position: Stock Loader
Location: Lebanon TN USA 37090
Duration: 12 months temp to hire
Pay: $20.45/hr
Shift: M-F-11am-8.00pm
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Primary Function:
Using a variety of material handling equipment, stages product by trip number and store number as it is received from the packing and pulling areas of the stockroom. Utilizes an electronic scanner to record each piece of product and loads it onto trucks by store location, following and adhering to all safety rules, including the handling of hazardous materials. Must be able to be certified as a forklift operator.
Secondary Functions:
Prepare palletized loads for shipment by shrink-wrapping products using specified materials.
Maintain the work area in an organized and clean manner.
Experience, Education, and Abilities:
Completion of a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent combination of experience and education.
Functional literacy (able to read numbers and read/write at a 4th-grade level).
Must be able to pass a background check.
Must be able to work in a drug-free environment.
Ability to lift/carry freight weighing up to 50 lbs by hand several times a week.
Able to push/pull up to 300 lbs using mechanical aids (hand trucks, barrel dollies, hydraulic lifts, etc.).
Ability to bend, twist, squat, climb, push, pull, and maintain a quick pace.
Ability to work with computer scanning equipment.
Ability to follow instructions and complete required training.
Must be able to work both independently and in a team environment.
Basic written and verbal communication skills (documentation, communication with peers, supervisors, and customers).
