Job Description

Our client, is seeking a dedicated Welding professional to join their team. As a Welding specialist, you will be an integral part of the manufacturing department supporting production and quality assurance teams. The ideal candidate will demonstrate reliability, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully within the organization.

Job Title: Welding

Location: Clare, MI

Pay Range: $18.50 an hour to $19.50 an hour, depending on shift

Shift: 
1st shift - 8 am to 4 pm
3rd shift - 12 am to 8 am

What's the Job?

• Join, fabricate, and repair metal and other weldable materials using appropriate techniques and welding devices.
• Position parts according to work orders, routings, prints, and knowledge of the unit.
• Regulate machine settings for proper weld current, wire feed, and gas flow.
• Join steel or aluminum pieces by heating to achieve proper fusion, ensuring quality and precision.
• Remove weld imperfections and record all relevant work data including labor, downtime, and rework details.

What's Needed?

• Minimum of 1 year of MIG and TIG welding experience.
• High School diploma or GED equivalent required
• Knowledge of blueprint reading and welding symbols is preferred.
• Ability to follow safety protocols and work effectively in a team environment.
