Job Description NYC based consumer electronics company Tzumi is looking for a talented, on‑site freelance 3D modeler and renderer. Must be proficient in ZBrush, Blender, Rhino, SolidWorks and KeyShot – other 3D software (CLO) is a plus. Must be skilled in modeling fabrics, plastics and other textures for consumer products. Experience with hard goods is a plus. Basic knowledge of Adobe Suite software: Illustrator and Photoshop is needed. This candidate will be joining a dynamic and talented team of creatives. Responsibilities Model, render and create 3D assets from design sketches, layouts and details; manage multiple projects with critical deadlines; communicate verbally and via email; provide constructive feedback; maintain composure under tight deadlines. Qualifications Team player who can turn constructive feedback into motivation Highly skilled in soft‑good software such as ZBrush for photorealistic soft‑good products Highly skilled in 3D modeling photorealistic electronics products (SolidWorks / Rhino) Efficiency in rendering software KeyShot Ability to create 3D models from design sketches, layouts and details prepared by others Proficiency in Adobe Suite Excellent communication skills via verbal and email correspondence Manage multiple projects with critical deadlines simultaneously Proactive with questions and department development Maintains composure under tight deadlines Available in office Monday – Friday in Midtown, Manhattan, NY 2‑ or 4‑year degree in drafting, industrial design, art, or related fields Minimum 3–5 years of experience Bonus Video/Animation experience a PLUS!
