Pharmacy Technician - Refill Tech

13-week contract – Temp to Perm

Pharmacy Hours:

• Monday 8:00am-5:30pm
• Tuesday 8:00am-5:30pm
• Wednesday 8:00am-7:00pm
• Thursday 8:00am-5:30pm
• Friday 8:00am-5:30pm
• Saturday 8:00am-1:00pm

CPHT required





Retail pharmacy tech experience required / Refill Tech.


Position Overview:
We are seeking a Pharmacy Technician - Refill Tech to join our team. The role involves processing prescription refills, assisting pharmacists, and ensuring accuracy in medication dispensing. The ideal candidate should have strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and experience in a pharmacy setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process prescription refills accurately and efficiently.
• Verify patient information and prescription details for accuracy.
• Communicate with healthcare providers and insurance companies as needed.
• Assist in maintaining inventory and stocking medications.
• Ensure compliance with pharmacy regulations and company policies.
• Provide exceptional customer service to patients regarding medication refills.
• Support pharmacists with administrative and operational tasks.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent (required).
• Pharmacy Technician certification (CPhT) preferred.
• Previous experience in a pharmacy setting (retail or clinical) is a plus.
• Knowledge of prescription processing and medical terminology.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
• Proficiency in using pharmacy management systems and software.
