Recently established, dynamic and growth minded CPA with a small Accounting & Tax Preparation company is seeking a dedicated bookkeeper to provide client support in the form of Quickbooks Desktop Accounting & Bank Reconciliations for the companies clients.

Job Description: The candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of proven experience with QuickBooks Desktop and experience with business bank reconciliations. This is a solid opportunity for someone who is detail oriened, a self starter, organized, efficient, and looking to leverage their skills in a casual and professional office.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and maintain assigned companies’ financial records using QuickBooks Desktop.
• Process and transmit bi-weekly Quickbooks Payroll with client hours/OT/special payments input and within Quickbooks enhanced payroll module.
• Perform regular bank reconciliations to ensure accurate accounting records.
• Process light accounts payable transactions.
• Ensure accuracy with general ledger postings.
• Provide general administrative support as needed.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience using QuickBooks Desktop and QuickBooks Payroll.
• Small business experience in bank reconciliations.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) a plus, not required.
