USSSA is seeking a person who thrives in a fast-paced, energetic, collaborative culture. This position will join the marketing team and assist in filming and editing video content. The United States Specialty Sports Association (USSSA), headquartered in Melbourne, Florida is the world's largest multi-sport athletic organization. Our mission is to empower our team and its partners with an unsurpassed platform to create and support world-class athletic events and sports programming to enrich and educate the lives of participants at all levels. Founded in 1968, it has grown to over 4 million participants competing in 13 nationally sanctioned sports. We are a growing organization that in necessity must expand our National Event locations and workforce to accommodate the growing number of teams and athletes qualifying to participate. Time Period Unpaid Internship will span over 4 months (flexible) Professional Requirements Own a DSLR or mirrorless camera, lens, and any other video equipment. Some experience in Adobe Premiere editing software (Adobe Creative Suite experience preferred) Must be currently involved with a field such as Video, Digital Media, Sports Marketing, ect. Must be able to work nights, weekends, and holidays. Must be able to lift at least 15 lbs and stand, walk long periods of time. Understanding of social media platforms, including Facebook, X, Instagram, YouTube, and TikTok. Qualifications Responsible Ethical Team Oriented Strong Communication Skills Interpersonal Skills Problem-Solving Skills Ability to read and fill out brackets Flexibility in work schedule (weekends, evenings, mornings) Reliable Transportation Attire Comfortable, appropriate office/field attire is acceptable. Job Responsibilities: As a Video Production intern, your responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Shoot game content and highlights during USSSA tournaments and events. Create short features, mic'd ups, interviews, hype recaps, and much more. Assist Video Department with editing videos for social platforms. Monitor social media trends and present new ideas to enhance the current content strategy to increase total followers and engagement.
